2005년은 SAT의 역사에 있어서 매우 중요한 의미가 있습니다.
지난 10여년 간의 국제 수학경시대회등의 기록들은 미국수학이 매우 커다란 문제에 직면해있다는 것을 확인시켜
주었습니다.
그런 시점에서 2005년도에 SAT 시험이 대폭 개정되었고, 그 중 수학 부분에 있어서의 변화 역시 커다란
의미를 갖는다고 생각합니다.
지금 여기서 설명하지 않더라도, 미국 대학 진학에 있어서 SAT시험이 차지하는 비중이 매우 엄청나다는 것은
너무나 잘 알려진 사실입니다.
SAT 시험은 단지, 미국 대학 입학 심사 자료로서의 의미만 있는 것이 아니라, 미국 고등학교 학생들에게
기본적으로 꼭 갖추어야 할 수학적 학습 내용들에 대한 방향을 제시하는 이정표의 역할을 하고 있고, 또한
그렇게 하여야 한다고 생각합니다.

2005 is a very important year for the history and future course
of SAT.
For the past 10 years, performances in international mathematical
assessments and many other evidences show that the United
States is facing big problems in education, especially in
mathematics.
Mean a while, SAT has been heavily modified in 2005 and the
changes in math sections will have huge implications.
It is unnecessary to elaborate the fact that SAT is one of
the most important ways to benchmark one's ability for college
and universities.
However, SAT is more than just a college entrance exam. It
also serves as a milestone and guideline for what students
should know and be capable of.
Rather than focusing on an effective "cram" that
might (or might not) help students to achieve higher scores
in SAT in short amount of time, our goal is to develop and
train students to be the masters of mathematics both in school
and in SAT with our programs.
We sincerely hope that we can help you to become the masters
and conquerors of American education and mathematics.
